Registration for children 3 to 11 years of age.
U.S.S. Iowa Seniors – $16.00

Battleship Iowa Museum Tour

Come aboard the USS Iowa with fellow Phi Betes and friends! Experience history first-hand as we tour this award-winning, floating museum, considered a Top 10 regional attraction, and consistently rated a “must-see.” The USS Iowa has been designated the “World’s Greatest Naval Ship” due to her big guns, heavy armor, fast speed, longevity and modernization. She has also welcomed and escorted more U.S. Commanders in Chief than any other battleship in our nation’s history, thus earning the title, “The Battleship of Presidents.”

Docent-led tours will run 1 ½ to 2 hours. Guests may choose either the relaxed-pace Senior Tour or a more vigorous tour (includes climbing stairs); selection of tour type is made the day of the tour. Prices: $19 for ages 12-61; $16 for ages 62 and older; and $11 for ages 3-11.

Box lunches cannot be purchased after 22 March, but tour tickets can be purchased until the day before the tour!

Suggested attire: casual clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Closed-toe footwear is required. Parking is accessible from 1^stStreet and Harbor Boulevard. The first hour is free, and each additional hour is $2. For directions, visit https://www.pacificbattleship.com/visit-us/hours-directions/.

SAVE THE DATE FOR SPRING PROGRAM: SATURDAY, MAY 18, 2019

Our Spring Program will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, when paleontologists, Sue and Larry Vescera will talk about their work on an archaeological site in the Southern California desert containing 130,000 year-old mastodon fossils. Should be fascinating. Mark your calendar and watch for details!
